Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician

GTG Training Limited is offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to kickstart their career in the automotive industry. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Drymen, Scotland.
The successful candidate will work full-time in a garage workshop, earning a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, with the potential to increase as they progress through their apprenticeship. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in vehicle repair and maintenance.
You will be trained to SCQF Level 7 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with regular assessments and reviews conducted within the apprentice's own workplace. Dedicated mentors from GTG Training Limited and the apprentice's workplace will provide guidance and support throughout the program.
To be eligible for this role, you must have or expect to gain National 4 or above in English, Maths, and either a Science or Technical Subject. A full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
Key responsibilities include learning all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, attending week-long block release training at the training centre, and participating in regular assessment and reviews.
