Career Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Cancer Services Mental Health Lead to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the psychological provision for cancer services within the area, working closely with relevant MDTs to develop a local plan and pathway.

This exciting opportunity involves input to meetings and clinics, offering training and supervision. Our department is friendly, supportive, and flexible, with a strong emphasis on supervision and personal development.

The role requires working closely with Cancer Services in the acute hospital trust to determine needs, conducting one-to-one assessments, interventions, and assessments for surgery. There may also be opportunities to develop and run groups, offer complex case discussions, and reflective groups within MDTs. An assistant will be provided to support the role for the first year and help with data collation.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
