About the Role:

FPMR Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance and Electrical Supervisor to join our team at a Luxury Development in Westminster. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems and electrical infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Systems Management: Oversee the building electrical system, including PAT testing and compliance with prevailing building regulations. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of circuit breakers and trip switches.
  • IT Competence: Monitor and operate the BMS system, demonstrating a good understanding of IT systems and their application in building management.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Facilitate working with in-house boilers, pumps, generators, air conditioning systems, heating, and water systems, applying basic engineering principles to ensure optimal performance.
  • System Checks and Compliance: Diarise regular checks of all building systems and ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
  • Reactive and Proactive Maintenance: Perform reactive and proactive maintenance tasks to a Grade 1 Listed Heritage Property, working collaboratively with a small team to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and repair.
  • Basic Plumbing and Carpentry: Perform basic plumbing and carpentry tasks, including painting and decorating, to maintain the building's appearance and functionality.
  • Liaison with Contractors: Liaise with and oversee outside specialist contractors, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with company policies.
  • Mentorship and Supervision: Mentor and supervise other members of the maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities management team.

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role, ensuring effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
  • Customer Focus: Provide a welcoming and helpful approach when dealing with visitors to the building, demonstrating a customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Facilities Management Experience: Possess experience in facility management in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of building systems and electrical infrastructure.
