Job Title: Vascular Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Vascular Nurse Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in vascular surgery and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

As a Vascular Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery and those with longer-term vascular complaints. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based information to patients and their families, and to autonomously consult with new and follow-up patients with peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and complex wounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery and those with longer-term vascular complaints
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based information to patients and their families
  • Autonomously consult with new and follow-up patients with peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and complex wounds
  • Provide direction to junior staff and support staff within the team
Requirements
  • RGN with current NMC registration
  • Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
  • Ability and willingness to undertake appropriate training
  • Experience in complex wound care
  • Experience of team working and facilitating change
  • Flexible and adjustable to change
  • Full Clean driving licence
