Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our Community and Assessment Treatment Unit (CATU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our innovative patient pathway.

The CATU & SDEC model is designed to assess and treat acute patients in a dynamic and efficient manner, with the goal of returning patients to their homes with the right support. You will be empowered to utilize a range of nursing skills to support patients through clinical admission, assessment, and ongoing treatment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our innovative patient pathway
  • Assessing and treating acute patients in a dynamic and efficient manner
  • Leading patient care and taking on differing nursing roles on the unit
