Norwich City Football Club Regional Development Programme seeks a motivated Sports Development Coach to deliver engaging PE lessons in partner primary schools and lead extra-curricular programme activities. Key duties include:

  • Delivering PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Leading sports and physical activities during before, lunch and after school clubs
  • Planning and executing activities to inspire and motivate children towards active lifestyles

Requirements include:

  • First Aid qualification
  • Basic Safeguarding qualification
  • A relevant coaching qualification
  • Knowledge of young people's learning and development
  • Knowledge of the PE national curriculum and sport development
  • Experience working with young people in sports environments
  • Ability to manage groups effectively and safely
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Available hours include extra hours on our Holiday Camps Programme. All RDP coaches undergo safer recruitment and induction processes and enhanced DBS disclosure checks.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.31-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 4 per week

Experience:

  • Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
