We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team, working with patients with severe mental illness in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, working closely with a team of senior workers, community connectors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Lead the Neighbourhood Recovery Service, working with patients as experts by experience to develop recovery-oriented care in the community.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for the treatment of psychosis, mood disorders, and co-morbidities.
- Collaborate with GPs to increase their skills and knowledge in managing common mental health presentations.
- Contribute to the development of a primary care mental health offer, working with the Neighbourhood Recovery Service to manage workload effectively.

Requirements- Medical degree, MBBS or equivalent.
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council.
- Eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register (or Specialist Registrar within 6 months of gaining CCT).
- Membership of the Royal College Of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualification.
- With or eligible for Approved Clinician status (MHA, 2007).
