Job Title: Quantity Surveyor for Planned Works

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for Planned Works to join our Planned Hub Decarbonisation Division. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in advancing decarbonisation initiatives across the region.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage all pre- and post-contract commercial activities for decarbonisation projects.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and improvement strategies to achieve divisional targets.
  • Oversee tender appraisals and bid strategies, ensuring compliance with Commercial Management Rules (CMR).
  • Collaborate with the Head of Decarbonisation, commercial team, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic insight to enhance profitability and maintain commercial integrity.
About You:
  • Significant post-qualification experience in planned works and decarbonisation, preferably within the social housing sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen to maximise value recovery and ensure cost control.
  • Expertise in budgets, forecasts, and final account management.
  • A track record of reviewing and approving CVRs and supplementary financial reports.
  • Excellent IT skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
