Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly reports and interpreting financial data at regular Finance Team meetings.
  • Providing high-standard service in key financial and operational functions, including accounts payable, receivable, cash management, banking, and payroll analysis/review.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely production of daily cash flows and supporting financial reporting.
  • Advising on financial planning, budget analysis, and spreadsheet management.
  • Working collaboratively with directorates to provide financial information, advice, and assistance.
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Familiarity with Financial Ledger Systems (SAGE an advantage).
  • Proficiency in computer systems, office packages, and software applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Proven experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent accountancy qualifications, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
