Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant with responsibility for English as an additional language

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Chadwell Primary School. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with English as an additional language and will be able to provide high-quality teaching and learning support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with English as an additional language in a primary school setting
  • Provide teaching and learning support to students in a variety of subjects
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Have good literacy and maths skills

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of working with students with English as an additional language
  • Good literacy and maths skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
