Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant with responsibility for English as an additional language

We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Chadwell Primary School. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with English as an additional language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with English as an additional language in a primary school setting
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with English as an additional language
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good literacy and maths skills
