About the Role:As a Payroll Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our clients, resolving queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our Payroll Services Team to ensure that all queries and requests are dealt with at the first point of contact or escalated in the agreed lines of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Resolve queries and issues related to payroll processing, including manual payments, overpayments, timesheets, and pay calculations
- Work closely with the Payroll Services Team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Participate in quality checks and reporting to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Support the Senior Payroll Services Advisor in providing coaching and guidance to team members
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and UK legislation, including Channel Islands
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Genesys or similar case management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
