Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team on the Acute Medical Unit at Epsom Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing respiratory physiotherapy services to patients on the Acute Medical Unit, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conducting regular patient assessments and reviews to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a respiratory care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
