We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team on the Acute Medical Unit at Epsom Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing respiratory physiotherapy services to patients on the Acute Medical Unit, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conducting regular patient assessments and reviews to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a respiratory or acute care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities.
