About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West CMHT team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of a therapeutic and holistic model of care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage referrals accepted by the CMHT for individuals with mood and psychotic disorders, trauma-based presentations, and personality disorder.
  • Work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to develop and implement care plans that promote effective transitions and discharge.
  • Represent the Trust at tribunal hearings and assess consent to treatment under the Mental Health Act.
Person Specification
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT/CESR.
  • Member of RCPsych.
  • Broad experience of WAA psychiatry.
