About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Assistant to provide in-class support to students taking up vocational/foundation courses at our college in Enfield. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a student aged between 16 – 18 years, working one-to-one with them. This is a full-time role that requires a candidate who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their academic goals.

About the College

Our college is one of the largest post-16 college groups in London, operating mainly during term-time only. We offer excellent training and development programmes, as well as dedicated management and staff teams. Our centres are easily accessible via public transport, making it an ideal location for anyone looking to work in education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing in-class support to students taking up vocational/foundation courses
  • Working one-to-one with students aged between 16 – 18 years
  • Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning
  • Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
