Your new company
Our client is a leading firm in audit, tax, and consulting, with a strong presence in the region. They work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including retail, media, technology, real estate, construction, energy, and natural resources. They are now seeking a VAT Manager to join their team in Birmingham, working on a hybrid basis, to deliver high-quality services to their clients.
Your new role
As a VAT Manager, you will be responsible for leading VAT client work, ensuring all assignments are reviewed and prepared to the highest standards. You will collaborate with Partners to ensure agreed expectations are met, and work closely with junior colleagues to review their work and answer any queries. Your tasks will also include being the main point of contact for your clients.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have solid VAT experience, effective team leadership skills, and be ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified. You should also possess experience in client handling and project management.
