About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to join our Programme Advisory team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering business transformation and controls & performance advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Client Engagements: You will lead the assessment of client environments, identify challenges, and develop solutions to deliver business benefits and outcomes.
  2. Develop and Implement PMO and Controls & Performance Strategies: You will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of PMO and controls & performance strategies to support client success.
  3. Deliver Workshops and Presentations: You will lead the delivery of workshops and presentations to client representatives, utilizing your expertise to communicate complex ideas and solutions.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams to represent Turner & Townsend at client sites and virtually.
  5. Deploy Established Methodologies and Tools: You will deploy established methodologies, processes, tools, and systems, tailoring them to suit specific client circumstances.
  6. Contribute to Continuous Improvement: You will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of our team's capabilities and services.
Requirements
  1. Experience in Project Controls: You will have 3-5 years of experience in project controls, with a strong background in the infrastructure sector.
  2. Relevant Industry Experience: You will have experience working on major capital projects/programmes, covering one or more roles within the PMO/controls & performance environment.
  3. Capability and Maturity Assessments: You will have familiarity with capability/maturity assessments across the capital delivery businesses, PMO, controls & performance, or a specific function.
  4. Controls & Performance Integrated Processes: You will have experience with supporting the development of controls & performance integrated processes and digital solutions.
  5. Communication and Stakeholder Management: You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and engage with C-suite level, executive client teams.
  6. Technical Skills: You will have proficiency in Office 365 applications, diagramming tools, online whiteboarding tools, team collaboration tools, and specialist controls & performance software tools.
