Forensic Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at the Spinney Hospital in Greater Manchester. As a Forensic Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services in our 97-bedded all-male unit, which provides comprehensive services for forensic inpatients covering the care pathway from medium to low secure and locked rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:- Attend SMT morning handover and participate in ward rounds, clinical audit, and quality improvement work.
- Lead the implementation of risk assessment and risk management, and participate in clinical governance to ensure the implementation of policies and protocols.
- Write and supervise various reports, including Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' reports, and attend hearings.
- Be on the Specialty Register for Forensic Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with forensic experience.
