Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of store associates to achieve business objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and efficient receipt of merchandise.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Store Projects: Lead and participate in store projects, such as visual merchandising, product launches, and in-store promotions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months of retail experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a wet and cold environment.
