Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-time Nursery Manager to join our team at Hadland Care Group. As an Interim Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
- Organize activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks to promote learning and development
- Communicate effectively with children, staff members, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive environment
- Develop and maintain the nursery budget to ensure financial stability and growth
- Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment, and organize maintenance, repairs, and new items as required
- Update parents and carers about their child's progress and behavior
- Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in early years education, with a strong understanding of best practices and current trends
- Childcare qualification
- Experience of leading the improvement of Early Years Foundation Stage provision and outcomes across a range of nurseries
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of good practice in the early years
- Knowledge and understanding of local and national educational initiatives in the early years
