We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Professional to join our Crisis Management team as a Senior Claims Adjuster. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will involve managing a portfolio of complex claims across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of Crisis Management and Political Risk claims, including trend identification and reporting, oversight of large losses, and problem-solving key issues.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with brokers, clients, actuaries, and underwriters to ensure effective claim handling and business development.
- Support underwriting teams and partners in connection with claim trends, marketing, and business development/retention activities.
- Review, evaluate, and manage external vendor relationships to ensure robust governance and quality service levels.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
- Experience across Crisis Management claims, with a sound knowledge of geopolitical and economic issues.
- Working knowledge of Lloyd's minimum standards, Lloyd's regulations, and the subscription market (desired but not essential).
- Ability to manage resources, including team workload allocation and proactive management of vendor relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to colleagues, senior management, and peers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while ensuring work is done in the most effective way and SLAs are met.
