About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a Nurse, you will be working in a low secure service, providing care and support to individuals with personality disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to patients with mental illness and personality disorder
- Develop therapeutic relationships to optimize patient engagement and progress
- Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care, and monitoring patient progress
- Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and other team members
- Follow all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, relatives, and the multi-disciplinary team
- Good working knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007
- Experience in a related environment, preferably in a low secure setting
