Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorder.
Key Responsibilities- Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
- Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and other team members
- Follow all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, external agencies, and organisations
- Good working knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007
- Experience in a related environment is essential
- Competitive salary starting from £31,900 per annum, depending on experience
- 25 days' annual leave (increasing with length of service to a maximum of 30) plus bank holidays
