We are partnering with a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Counselling Tutor, on a 5-month contract, with potential for extension. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £28.54 - £37.15 per hour

Hours Per Week: 9.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop course outlines, conduct initial and diagnostic assessments, and interview potential students.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager to plan courses, including submission of schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Establish a purposeful learning environment that values diversity and promotes student safety and confidence.
• Set challenging teaching and learning objectives that cater to the course and students' needs.
• Manage the learning process effectively, guiding and supporting students, and differentiating teaching to meet their needs.

Requirements:

• First degree or equivalent
• A qualification at least one level higher than the course to be taught
• A fully recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one within the first year of teaching

• You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
• You should have the right to work in the U.K.
• This role requires an enhanced DBS
