Job Title: Security Officer

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at a busy Distribution site in Banbury.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to provide site protection and access control services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our site, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties, including badge printing, area access, alarm monitoring, and CCTV investigations
  • Controlling the access of visitors, staff, and contractors
  • Internal and external patrols to detect and prevent security breaches
  • Following site procedures and reporting incidents and accidents to the customer
  • Gatehouse duties, including checking drivers' IDs and vehicles
  • Screening and searching when required

Requirements:

  • A valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence (CCTV Licence is an advantage but not a requirement)
  • A 5-year checkable work/education history
  • Competent computer skills with a good knowledge of computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to create comprehensive incident reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
