Residential Care Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Care Manager to lead our residential service in Dereham. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week with a competitive salary.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential service, ensuring it meets organizational and CQC standards. You will lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers, supporting individuals in their home and community to achieve their goals.

As a Residential Care Manager, your responsibilities will include managing the residential service to provide personalised support to individuals with complex needs. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our service users.

The successful candidate will have prior experience of managing in a care setting and good knowledge & understanding of a Residential and/or Supported Living service. They will also have a NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential service
  • Lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our service users
  • Work closely with the team to provide personalised support to individuals with complex needs

Requirements:

  • Prior experience of managing in a care setting
  • Good knowledge & understanding of a Residential and/or Supported Living service
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it
