Highways Maintenance Operative

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll work within the Operative team, supporting reactive and planned highways maintenance works, including pothole repairs, kerb laying, drainage, and minor civils works.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Responding to incidents on the network within designated timescales, ensuring relevant parties are updated, and liaising with emergency services to minimize traffic disruption.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on the network, operating various plant and equipment, and ensuring site and company equipment is secure.
- Using WMS/MMW applications at incidents and emergency repairs, and completing required record sheets.
- Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and maintaining them in good order.
This role is ideal for those with Street Works qualifications, a full driving license, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
