Lead Change and Transformation in a Global Investment Bank

Lorien is seeking a seasoned Transformation Leader to join our Back Office team in a large global investment bank. As a pivotal member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in enabling change and transformation across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a Team Across the Back Office Function: You will own the assets of the entire Back Office Change function, leading a team across the European Applications department of the bank.
  2. Pivotal Role in Migration and Modernisation: You will be instrumental in a large migration and modernisation across the business to AWS.
  3. Manage Ongoing Projects: You will take control and deliver on smaller but still significant ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  1. Strong Technical Expertise: You will have strong technical expertise in managing change across development teams, with a key programming language being Java.
  2. Financial Services Experience: You will have financial services experience, ideally in an Investment Banking environment, particularly in Back Office with Post Trade Bookings, settlements, credit risk, and liquidity risk.
  3. Proven Experience in Transformation: You will have proven experience in transformation, modernisation, and change.
  4. Well-Balanced Leader: You will be a well-balanced leader passionate about building a high-performing team, developing careers, managing stakeholders, and prioritising business needs.
