Job Title - Multi Skilled Engineer

Salary - £45,000-£48,000

Location - Deeside

Job Type - Permanent, 4 x 4 shift pattern (days & nights).

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd in the Deeside area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance of process, packaging, and auxiliary equipment.

The Role

  • Responding to machine and auxiliary failures.
  • Carrying out troubleshooting and fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Installing, commissioning and repairing plant and facilities.
  • Assisting the manufacturing department with line adjustments, changeovers & breakdowns.
  • Ensuring reduction of downtime and facilitating improvements.
  • Taking an active role in site H&S requirements.
  • Working unsupervised when required and delegating work to others.
  • Producing and maintaining documentation relating to engineering tasks.
The Person

  • HNC or NVQ L3 qualified in an electrical, mechanical or multi skilled discipline.
  • Hands on multi skilled experience with automated machines, ideally within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Working experience of integrated systems.
  • Working experience of automatic packaging and palletisation systems.
  • Team worker & safety driven.
