Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our renewable energy building services sector, you will play a crucial role in developing energy-saving solutions and supporting the Lead Electrical Engineer and wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development of energy-saving solutions and provide assistance from initial idea to final stages of development.
  2. Develop solutions to energy and water efficiency upgrade challenges.
  3. Assist with site surveys and building reports for solution development.
  4. Produce and design calculations for different projects.
  5. Assist in optimising the design processes that are currently in place.
  6. Ensure all aspects of new and ongoing projects are in line with up-to-date best practice industry standards.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of designing renewable energy heating systems or building services related designs is preferable.
  2. Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD and Revit is preferable.
  3. Electrical Engineering degree (related degrees will be considered).
  4. Knowledge of mechanical engineering is preferable but not essential.
  5. Experience with MS Office (Excel and Word).
