Job Role Overview

Eddy Current NDT Technician

AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Eddy Current NDT Technician to join our team. As an Eddy Current NDT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing using Eddy Current techniques to inspect warhead products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise customers on the most suitable NDT techniques for inspecting parts.
  • Develop and implement Eddy Current techniques and work instructions.
  • Support the Safe Systems of Work associated with NDT activities.
  • Produce or support the team with written technical assessments.
  • Engage with the wider team and stakeholders to enhance inspection techniques.
  • Work to company deadlines and targets.
  • Continuously develop professional skills to maintain formal NDT certification.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 and Level 3 certification in Eddy Current Testing (EN4179 / PCN / SNT / ASNT / NAS410).
  • Subject matter expertise in Eddy Current testing.
