We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Optima Installations Ltd. As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in overseeing the management of projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Monitor progress on site to ensure completion of works within agreed programmes, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Provide support regarding all financial aspects of projects, ensuring a successful outcome and maintaining accurate records.
- Process sub-contract orders and purchase orders for plant and materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
- The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Surveying Technician Level 3 Intermediate Apprenticeship, attending college on day release as directed by the college.
- Apprentices will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Surveying as a prerequisite to end-point assessment and will become Associate members of the RICS (AssocRICS).
- On successful completion of Level 3 and EPA, students can progress onto the BSc Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship, further developing their skills and expertise.
- Excellent communication and IT skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
- Administrative skills, with proficiency in handling financial data and maintaining accurate records.
- Number skills, with a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and their application in a business setting.

- Team working skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- GCSE or equivalent - 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C/5 or above) desirable.
