About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Optima Installations Ltd. As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing the management of projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Monitor progress on site to ensure completion of works within agreed programmes, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Provide support regarding all financial aspects of projects, ensuring a successful outcome and maintaining accurate records.
  • Process sub-contract orders and purchase orders for plant and materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
Training and Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Surveying Technician Level 3 Intermediate Apprenticeship, attending college on day release as directed by the college.
  • Apprentices will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Surveying as a prerequisite to end-point assessment and will become Associate members of the RICS (AssocRICS).
Career Progression
  • On successful completion of Level 3 and EPA, students can progress onto the BSc Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship, further developing their skills and expertise.

  • GCSE or equivalent - 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C/5 or above) desirable.
