Role Overview:

As the Vehicle Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.

  1. Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring jobs are assigned to the right technicians.
  2. Conduct quality control checks on completed work, ensuring high standards are met.
  3. Provide support and guidance to technicians, helping them resolve complex repair issues.
  4. Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to within the workshop.
  5. Manage and monitor workshop productivity, aiming to meet and exceed KPIs.
  6. Carry out MOT's (if you have an MOT licence).
Key Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a Workshop Controller or senior workshop role within the motor trade.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance.
  3. EV / Hybrid vehicle experience.
  4. MOT Licence is an advantage but not essential.
  5. Full UK driving license.
