**Salary:** circa £35,000 basic plus bonus

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team and ensure the efficient running of our workshop operations.
**Role Overview:** As the senior technician, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop while actively working on vehicles. You will work closely with the technicians, service advisors, and parts team to ensure a smooth workflow and meet customer expectations while actively working on the tools yourself.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing vehicles
- Diagnosis of faults
- Monitor workflow and ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes
- Carry out service / repair / diagnostic work
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work, ensuring high standards are met
- Liaise with service advisors and parts teams to ensure smooth communication between departments
- Provide support and guidance to technicians, helping them resolve complex repair issues
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to within the workshop
- Manage and monitor workshop productivity, aiming to meet and exceed KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, ensuring documentation is up-to-date
