Job Summary

GE Aviation's Power Conversion business provides electrification systems for high-performance applications. We seek a Senior Validation Engineer to lead validation efforts, ensuring Safety, Security, Reliability, and Performance of our products and systems.

About the Role

This role involves leading validation activities for controls and automation products and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, execution of automated test runs, and tools.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and specifications.
  2. Utilize automated testing tools such as JIRA XRAY, Selenium, or similar.
  3. Analyse test results, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
  4. Mentor and guide validation engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration of validation activities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Industry recognized certifications such as ISTQB, OT Cybersecurity, etc.
  • Deep understanding of OT Technologies, SCADA, DCS, Purdue model.
  • Strong experience in validation engineering, complex control systems.
  • Proven experience with automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to Automation & Controls Validation.
