About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that pupils receive a high-quality education.
  • Support pupils with special educational needs, ensuring that they have access to the same opportunities as their peers.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and members of staff, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in the pupil's progress.
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community, promoting the values of respect, empathy, and kindness.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for education and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the school.
