We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our client's team on a temporary contract basis. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing routine services, and executing professional vehicle repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced dealership environment and adapt to a dynamic workshop setting.
- Conduct thorough inspections and routine services on vehicles to ensure they meet dealer standards.
- Complete vehicle repairs in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with various departments across the dealership, including sales, service, and parts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and meet customer expectations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high level of professionalism throughout the workday.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (essential).
- MOT Licence preferred but not essential.
- Full Driving Licence (essential).
- Proven experience in an automotive workshop environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:
- 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (minimum 8 hours a day).
- Possibility of additional weekend work, compensated at a weekend rate.
