About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic MET Technician to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As a key member of our Bodyshop, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle repair work to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles.
- Ensure stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner.
- Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel area.
- Carry out inspections and order replacement parts.
- Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required.
- Strip and fit components, bodywork, and trim elements.
- Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition.
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Perform road testing (if applicable).
- Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair method.
About You
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical repairs is ideal.
- Experience in stripping and refitting vehicles is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced Bodyshop and take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your own work.
- Strong time management and organisational skills are required.
