Job Title: Senior Fire Engineer – EWS Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Engineer to lead our External Wall Systems (EWS) team. As a key member of our Fire Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on fire safety matters related to external wall systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fire risk appraisal reports to PAS 9980
  • Prepare assessment reports for new and existing external wall systems
  • Provide advisory support and carry out site visits
  • Prepare technical engineering analysis for alternative design and installation methods related to façade fire safety design
  • Third-party reviews and design verification
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (fire, mechanical, structural, civil or similar field)
  • Postgraduate fire engineering qualification (certificate, diploma or masters)
  • Chartership (or working towards Chartership) and full membership with the IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers)
  • Confident communicator, good customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritise and work on own initiative, as well as following instructions and working as part of a team
