Deputy Manager - Children's Residential

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes across the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Residential Manager to ensure the home operates in line with our values and standards.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team, promoting their professional development and individual growth.
  • Oversee colleague management, including appraisals, supervision, and training adherence.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and ensure all necessary training is completed.
  • Financial management of the home.
  • Environment management.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Upholding professional care practices.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • At least 1 year's experience of senior support work in a children's residential setting.
