Assistant Bar Manager Job Description

Join Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel as an Assistant Bar Manager and take on a challenging role within the Food & Beverage Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the Bar operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Bar operations, ensuring a high level of service and quality standards are maintained.
  • Assist the other F&B outlets when required, providing support and guidance to team members.
  • Ensure reservations for the Bar & Rooftop are managed correctly and liaise with relevant departments for special requests.
  • Manage security for the Rooftop, ensuring it is rostered when business levels require.
  • Ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and delivers the highest standards of luxury and quality to guests.
  • Carry out departmental audits to ensure LHQA is achieved by all team members.
  • Communicate the hotel's Vision & Mission statement to the team and ensure service areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained.
  • Monitor all purchasing and costs in the department, ensuring spend is in line with budgets and purchasing procedures.
  • Drive business results through revenue growth and cost savings efficiency.
  • Minimize wastage costs and maintain beverage cost within budgeted targets.
  • Create a market-leading environment through product, people, and profit.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Bar management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members.
