Job Title: Field Supervisor

Job Summary:

Circet UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to join our team. As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of civils and cabling activities on telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out joint site meetings with clients and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Survey and mark up existing services within the work area to ensure accurate planning and execution.
  • Identify and update job notes with required DFEs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the office and Project Manager on site activities and progress.
  • Conduct daily toolbox audits and safety audits with direct staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out Safe to Start audits before a job can commence to ensure site safety.
  • Coach operatives on site to improve quality and compliance to NRSWA standards.
  • Ensure gangs have all relevant equipment and SLG for the task at hand.
  • Ensure all equipment is within date and fully calibrated, and arrange recalibration as required.
  • Ensure all permit and noticing conditions are being met on site.
  • Keep accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.
  • Report daily to your line manager on outputs, problems, and issues.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures, and service deterioration trends, and implement effective root cause analysis, action planning, and monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Experience and strong understanding of the SROH.
  • NRSWA accreditation to Supervisor level.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecoms/civils industry.
  • IT skills to liaise with group works control.
  • Understanding of permit to work schemes and noticing.
  • Experience of demonstrating good communication skills and prioritizing works effectively.
  • Comfortable and confident working to tight timescales.
  • Previous reinstatement experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to understand client's quality requirements.
  • Experience of managing civils/utility gangs preferable telecoms.
  • Full clean driving licence.
