About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as Head Registered Veterinary Nurse. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring our nursing team, ensuring a supportive and thriving workplace.

About You

We are looking for a friendly and caring individual who is passionate about veterinary care and has strong leadership skills. You will be the go-to person for our nursing team, guiding them through their daily tasks and ensuring everyone feels heard and supported. Your expertise will shine in every aspect of veterinary care, from handling complaints with care to running the show during surgeries and consultations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor our nursing team, ensuring a supportive and thriving workplace
  • Guide and support nursing staff through their daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between nursing staff and other teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to decision-making

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse with strong leadership skills and a passion for veterinary care. You will have experience in all aspects of veterinary nursing and have some previous experience being a clinical coach and managing rotas for a team. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
