Technical Sales Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager from an Engineering background to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales engineers and supporting them to sell specialist equipment into the process engineering market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of sales engineers to achieve sales targets and grow the business
- Develop and implement business plans and forecasts to drive sales growth
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in a process engineering or technical sales role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
