Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of young people with eating disorders and mental health conditions? We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at Brighton & Hove Clinic.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support the delivery of structured activities and assist in the planning of individual and group therapeutic interventions. You will build strong relationships with service users to encourage participation and empower recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other MDT staff in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans.
  • Support service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate records and enter details in the service user healthcare records.
Requirements:
  • GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2.
  • Experience in a similar environment and mental health.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
