Forklift Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Service Engineer to join our East Field Service Engineers team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing, and modifying a range of material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Services, maintains, and overhauls a range of material handling products, including gas, diesel, and electric powered forklift trucks.
- Uses check sheets to ensure brakes, lifting assembly, and steering are in working order.
- Changes oil and filters as necessary and performs thorough examinations pending qualifications.
- Conducts preventative maintenance, such as lubricating steering and lifting equipment.
- Checks voltages and fluid levels of forklift trucks using meters and hydrometers.
- Full UK driving license.
- City and Guilds in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering related field.
- Diagnostic computer skills.
- Qualified in a related field or similar years' experience.
- Able to work unsupervised as required.
- Experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering in heavy goods/plant machinery/automotive.
