Cleaning Operative

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our offices and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the office and facilities
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery
- Empty bins, dust and sanitise surfaces, and perform other cleaning tasks as required
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning services
About You
We are looking for someone who is physically fit, able to work at heights, and has a keen eye for detail. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be required to work a part-time schedule, Monday to Saturday, with a 15-minute break in the morning.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.44
- 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service
