About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with customers and managers to ensure that cleaning needs are met.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, has good written and verbal communication skills, and is able to work on their own initiative. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
