Operations Director

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Operations Director to join Cast UK Limited and play a pivotal role in the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including supply chain management, production, inventory control, quality assurance, and logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with department heads to set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and creativity within the operations team, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and other regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyse financial data, including budgets and forecasts, to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a high-level operational leadership position, preferably within the distribution sector or a related field.
- Highly skilled in data analysis, with the capability to identify patterns, interpret complex information, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Deep knowledge of inventory management strategies and production planning techniques.
- Superior organisational talents, capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Strong familiarity with industry regulations and standards pertaining to operations, safety, and quality assurance.
- Proficient in negotiation, with a proven track record of cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with vendors.
